    I’ve watched 100’s of
3/11 videos and have never seen the beginning of this video. I had to assume it was Ishinomaki until I saw the islands adjacent to Shiogama ferry docks. I remember seeing those docks rise to max height and thought the people who designed that dock should get an award for their design.
Because a lot of these videos titles are in Japanese we can’t distinguish where they are at unfortunately. It has only been through perseverance that I can identify a city or landmark. I only started watching these in 2021 and have diligently studied them since. It has been difficult to understand a Tsunami but think I finally have a grasp on their mechanics. I just realized by watching the 2 videos from Utatsu District of Minamisanriku that even though the water is still coming in , the force of the whole wave doesn’t stop just because the peak of the wave has passed. You can witness this by the gentleman in the trees watching the water come through the river valley and the high water mark on the trees as well as the green building as a landmark. Then the subsequent waves behind.
I know this has been a traumatic event for the Japanese people and my heart has really has gone out to you and your society. I can’t fully comprehend the heartbreak of not only losing loved ones but the destruction of everything dear to you also. The lost towns and cities of nuclear fallout also.
I truly hope that in the future we can see more videos of progress from recovery. I know in 13 years since that a lot of the infrastructure is being raised and rebuilt and would love to see the progress and healing from time passed. I have literally fallen in love with your people and your Country. I was in the U S Marines in 1983 and only got to see Okinawa. I would be very tempted to move there now with this last mistake we made in the US. But Democracy may need me here. Love from Omaha, Nebraska, USA

The ocean floor literally rises, displacing tons of water.
Like if you had a piece of wood the exact size of your filled bathtub, and you raised one end, even just a few inches, the water would be displaced.
Now imagine a force powerful enough to raise the ocean floor 😱
I hear you about leaving the u.s. 😢

What an exceptionally beautiful place . The enchanting coast with inlets ,islands, and hills made beautiful with healthy vegetation that one feels is full of life . The city itself is a delight to see , with the walks by the sea ,and the law and order of the many many dwellings and buildings . It is especially poignant for us to see , as most of us from other countries have not seen the Japan that existed before the ravages of the Tsunami. It is heartbreaking to see what was lost and will never be the same again . We were aware of the horrible tragic loss of life , homes , family members , and incomes but not of this wonderful place that many inhabitants will remember always with feelings of grief and sorrow to the end of their lives.

I can’t read the date on the video. It seems like all of the previous videos that I have seen on the 2011 quake and tsunami, the weather was overcast, and often snowy in Eastern Japan. Here the sun is shining, and the wave is behaving more like a “tidal bore” as a normal “king tide” flows into a low gradient stream near its mouth. People are gathered on bridges to view the event, instead of fleeing for their lives.

What if that canal has giant bridges that has lots of pole to break the tide wave ??? The bride length 300 meters in thickness ( not the crossing length ) but the thickness of the bridge......you know what i mean? The bridge in general might have the lanes for the car around eight lanes ( that is the thickness)..... make the thickness at 300 meters... with lots of pole zigzag underneat to break the tide.

    • @arpsri9675
      @arpsri9675 Месяц назад

Actually the bridge might not help since water is already travel in town. It might help if you do that in the sea .
Find the spot to make a hub. And make the thick and tall bridge..... when tsunami come this show filter and slow down the tide. But for sure when it block the tide, that will make the tide level go higher againt the bridge. So it must be very tall bridge. Make it as high as you can. I will do the floating town that anchor with the bridge. The town that has buffer on the side and the propeller under neat. Think of 10 vessel size connected to be the town. When tsunami come the town float on top and under propeller is spinning lifting the town. The propeller might even mulnipulate the tide direction. In stead of going straight to the shore , the tide might change its directtion. The gigantic ring will move up and down the round pole ( round collar). and that will give flexibility for the town to go up and down with fixed position.

Have you check you earth on the moutain area compared with the flat land ??? Which area affected more??? If on the moutain or cliff is safer, then you might consider build the house on the cliff of the mountain. And make the floating town for business on shore. This you might need to have very deep water area. The town is like lots of cargo vessels are connected and has propellers under neat. Think of "Drone" that has that bring itself up to the sky. Apply that under neat the town. I think if you put the town further out or anchor the town with the cliff when tsunami occurs, the town will float itself.
It might even change the tide direction??? Since it spinning under neat. It will float itself or sink itself actually?
If the propeller under the water do the work for vessel at the back of vessel to move the vessel forward. Then if we put it under neat, it should keep the town floating.
